Two chocolate chips each for him and his (grateful) younger brother, who tells me "I think you got cuter."

    Wow! We read a Tomie dePaola book yesterday at rest time and one of the characters sat in her window eating dolci! I'd say that's a great self-to-text connection happening. No worries about that lad's comprehension! I just hope he doesn't ask you to bake panettone next!
