On the occasions my beloved has a glass of wine with dinner, the younger lad has taken to smelling the contents and pronouncing the subtleties: "smells like grapes.... strawberries... pineapple."
Pretty good for a three year old.

Very impressive! My husband would get a kick out of this. Once, his step-father served us a nice bottle of wine with dinner. Colin smelled it and said, "it smells like cork!" His father admitted to peices of it floating in the bottle that he picked out before serving.
